Weekly Charters

Financial aspects and damage deposit

  • What is APA?

The APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) system simplifies provisioning the yacht with a straightforward record keeping system. It covers expenses for food, drinks, fuel, crew tips, extra activities and other client requests, amounting to 25-30% of the charter fee. The Captain keeps track of receipts, expenses and provides a detailed account at the end of the trip. Any unused amounts will be refunded.

  • How much is the damage deposit?

The amount of the damage deposit varies for each yacht. However, please note that in the majority of damage cases, insurance will cover the costs.

  • When do I get my damage deposit back?

Your damage deposit will be returned to you at the end of your charter.

Crew accommodations and preferences

  • Where do the crew members sleep?

The crew typically sleeps in their own designated cabins, which are usually situated in the bow or sometimes in the aft of the vessel. These cabins have direct access from outside the guest area, ensuring greater privacy for guests. Each crew cabin comes equipped with its own toilet and shower facilities.

  • What is a Preference List?

The Preference List is a helpful tool for ensuring that the crew can adequately prepare for your arrival on the boat. By providing a list of your preferences in advance, the staff can ensure that they have enough supplies and beverages for everyone and can also accommodate any dietary restrictions or allergies you may have. This list is designed to ensure that everything is taken care of and that your stay on the boat is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
